Pamper Party by Eden BodyWorks

I had the opportunity to take my daughter to an event thrown by EdenBodyWorks and hosted by Mattie James at www.mattieologie.com at Loop Salon in Atlanta, GA. There were delicious refreshments available that all ages could enjoy while we socialized. I was so happy to share in this experience, they treated the girls to mini manicures and hair consultations with the Eden Kids line. They also treated us mothers to mini manicures as we sat and got tips on how to take care of our kids hair. While watching them do the hair I saw that they used the Coco Shea Berry Leave-In Detangler on everyone that sat in the chair. It smelled wonderful and left their hair feeling so soft along with a shine, this is their biggest seller in the Eden Kids line and they tend to sale out on their website. On my daughter she also used the Berry Natural Smoothing Gel to slick the edges down and gave the hair an extra dose of shine and did not leave a residue behind or flake up days later. The kids received a goodie bag with a notepad, an Eden kids shirt, a book called "Hair Like Mine" by LaTashia Perry, along with two products from the kids line: Berry Curly Creme and Berry Natural Moisture Milk. I inquired about the detangler and they didnt have any at the event to give away, but I was given the Berry Natural Detangler Shampoo and the Berry Natural Smoothing Gel to try.

Overall this was a great event and I learned so much during my time there from the other moms by trading advice and just enjoying adult time while the kids got to enjoy themselves. They also gave us parents a goody bag that consisted of the Coconut shea CoWash and Coconut Shea Leave-in Conditioner. I cant wait to try out all the items I received and will definitely be heading to Sally's to get the Leave-In Detangler for my daughter.

Dessange Oleo Miracle Replenishing Review

Lets just say that I had my reservations about trying this because I just am like that in regards to hair products. First let's just say that I have hair that is natural hair, which as an African-American means that I do not put a perm in my hair. So I normally do a wash and go or press it. Now that is out the way lets go ahead to the important stuff.

When I used it to shampoo and condition my hair, I was quite surprised that my hair didnt feel tangled during the shampoo process. I then decided that since it isnt a leave-in conditioner, that I would leave it on there as a deep conditioner. After about 15 minutes, I rinsed it out very easily and my hair was easy for me to detangle and blow-dry. After the blow-drying prcess, I then put the oil on it before flat ironing. Lets just say that i was shocked that the oil actually was absorbed well by my hair.

All in all I would recommend this line to someone who is interested in trying a new product that will leave their scalp feeling refreshed and their hair well moisturized. #JadoreDessange

Celestial Candy Cane Lane Tea Review

I received this product and my Frosty Vox Box and decided to give it a try last Saturday. Let's just say that for me the peppermint flavor was to overwhelming. I did attempt to put something in there to sweeten it up, hoping that would help. I did follow the directions and didnt let it brew to long so the flavor wouldnt be to strong. The scent was great, but the flavor was a definite no for me. However, if you like peppermint type flavor, then this might be the product for you to try.

Braun ThermoScan® 5

I received this product a little over a month ago complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Let's just say the fact that my child just turned two it id definitely not easy for her to be still yet cooperate when she is not feeling well. As soon as I got this I had to test it out because she seemed to be having some type of virus and I wanted to check her temperature. She actually stood there and let me stick this in her ear and thank goodness it lasted no longer than 5 seconds. I felt that the reading was accurate plus I used a regular thermometer under her armpit to verify. They both had the same reading. This is something that can be used not just on kids, but is great for all ages. It will definitely get utilized alot in my house with those winter months coming and all these virus/bugs floating around.

The ease of use is great and definitely recommend this item for purchase...

Spring Fling VoxBox Review

I have tried all my items that I received in my very first Influenster box. My everyday essentials that I keep in my purse are the Rimmel Scandalous Mascara, it gave my eyelashes volume. I also fell in love with the Softlips cube, but im not a fan of the pomegranate flavor that was given. This product kept my lips moisturizers for hours. I keep the Nivea skin firming lotion in my bag for when I am at work or out and need to apply some moisturizer to my hand after washing them. My only complaint is that it seemed a little too watery and oily based for my liking.

I was a big fan of the Kiss Nails due to how easy they were to apply and to remove. I was able to perform my household activities and my office work without them popping off. The Playtex sample will last me for quite some time. Having used feminine pads for 20+ years that would be a change going to tampons and not certain if im ready. Dont get me wrong it was great being able to go swimming during that special time. Lastly the Labor Day freshener leaves my car smelling great, I watched the movie and cant say I will watch it again. The movie seemed to be missing something for me, but I prefer suspense and action.

All in all I must say this was a great box and I will definitely purchase a majority of the products again.

Playtex® Sport® Fresh Balance Review

Let's just say that I am in my mid 30's and never in my life have I used tampons. Was always leary about purchasing them so I just never did. Thank goodness I got these in the mail to try right in time for summer busy activities from Influenster in my SpringVoxBox. This past weekend I was able to go bicycling, paddleboating and do some swimming at the hotel pool with no incidents at all.

Dont get me wrong, it was a little scary at first getting over the fear of how to properly go about using it. It took me quite some time to calm down and get over my anxiety. I would definitely recommend this product to others.  #PlayOn #SpringVoxBox

Kiss Everlasting French Manicure Review

Let me first start about by saying that I have not had fake nails on in quite sometime and especially store bought nails. With me being the mom of a busy toddler and working, I can barely have the patience to let someone file away or drill at my nail bed. Yep not interested in that at all because I like for my nails to remain healthy. When I first saw the box I said oh these should be simple to apply, I doubt that they will last long. Well I was right about 1 of those things and that was how easy it was to apply. I purposely waited to do them over the weekend since I would be toddler free. I went and got feet done earlier that day and decided when I got home to put the nails on so they could match.

The directions are very simple make sure your finger nails are oil-free and find the best size for your nail and if one cant be found, then to just file one to fit. I had no problem finding any to fit any of my fingers. Then you just put glue on the fake nail and on your nail bed and hold in place and remove the excess glue with the cuticle pusher. The tabs located at the end of the nail come off very easily. The entire process only took me about 10 minutes, which is great.

I would definitely recommend these products to anyone that needs something that looks nice for a short amount of time. The recommended wear is no more than 10 days. They also come with different designs on them in the store. I have washed clothes, dishes, cooked and played with my doctor and they have yet to come off and this day 3 of wear.
